I don’t usually get aroused immediately by a toy, but the Oliver James Large Wand Massager got me going right away. The large wand is large, nearly a foot long, making it oddly so comfortable to use. At first, I thought it looked a little gimmicky. It’s long, the handle is coated in shiny plastic, and it’s just so big it’s almost cartoonish. However, the neck is flexible, the silicone on the head is divine, and the vibrations are so strong I could feel them through my pants. The longer, curved handle on this model allows you to hold with your palm facing any direction, making the device super easy on your wrist - which is usually the first point of discomfort for me. I also found it super easy to use, from the buttons to the toy's ability to massage such a large area. I also used it to massage out shin splints and tight calves from running - something I’ve never considered doing - but it totally worked. This is truly a full-body massager.

Despite their popularity, I don't use a lot of magic wand style vibrators on myself because they're a bit too powerful and I prefer more pinpointed stimulation. However, Le Wand Rechargeable Massager is a really a great quality vibe that is easy to use, powerful, and has a variety of attachments available (sold separately). It's got good rumbles, and isn't as loud as some wands, however it's not that quiet. I love that it's available in a variety of colors too! With a dial at the end to adjust speed, you can crank the wand up to feel like a rocket about to launch. Which is exactly what I did, and it transformed my“take it or leave it” attitude to a thumbs up. The neck is poorly constructed with it’s accordion-style design, but the folds are too ridged to actually bend. You can stretch it out to get a solid curve in it, but it still doesn’t behave as well as a silicone neck. Overall, for a toy under $30, it’s not too shabby. I’d say if you’re on a trip and forgot your vibrator, you could pick this one up in a pinch and be content.

The Palm Power Massager was my first ever experience with a corded vibrator. Right off the bat, it felt very retro. It reminded me of an early episode of Sex and the City where Samantha was looking for a replacement “neck massager.” The Palm Power Massager screams 90s. Getting to the point: my verdict on this toy is “meh.” The packaging and toy are entirely made of plastic, which just feels cheap and wasteful. The toy itself packs some serious power, and not having to charge it is nice. It seems to have no limit on how powerful the vibrations can be, and with the ABS plastic coating, they’re rumbly. The Doxy Original Massager is a great time for anyone looking to expand into the vibrating toy realm. The three button control system was intuitive, and it was easy to go back and forth between vibration intensities. This toy was very rumbly as opposed to buzzy, and the higher settings proved to be very intense. This wand was on the heavier side, and it was a little difficult to hold in place for long periods of time. If I wanted to speak Morse Code, I’d buy a Ham radio, not a vibrator. Don’t get me wrong, this is a beautifully designed, high-quality vibrating wand. However, I have a very specific personal issue with this toy. The wand has 20 patterns, and while I appreciate that each pattern is nuanced and probably appeals to users who have been looking for that specific “dot dot dash” vibration, I could have done without 18 of them. For me, the first and eighteenth vibration patterns are the ones I want. And I’d love to be able to start with one, go to the other, and go back and forth until I’m tired. But I can’t do that with the Ava VIVVO Wand because I have to cycle through all the patterns to find the right one. And because they’re all so similar, I easily miss the one I’m looking for and have to cycle through all 20 again. This probably sounds so petty, but when you need that little shift in vibration, you don’t want to click through 17 that are just “meh.” I think this part of the design is bothersome enough to ruin the toy entirely.

The Funzze Super Powerful Massager is a great addition to any toy collection, fully equipped with 8 speeds and 20 vibration modes, this vibe will rock your world.
